Large 1920s / 1930s Dept. Store Ceiling Fixture Tropical Feel

At 14 inches across it is an imposing fixture. The Art Deco inspired stylized tropical leaves have been painted and fired on in colors of light tan and soft orange against the white milk glass glass. The crystal bottom glass is held in place by a polished nickel band which tightens around the two pieces holding them securely in place. The metal band is removable for easy access to change the bulb.
The bottom crystal designed to light up the area underneath the globe. A wonderful addition to any kitchen or bathroom.

Asian Lantern Inspired Parrot Fixture, circa 1930

Very well designed vintage globe inspired by the paper lanterns of Japan and China, among others. A rare pattern which we seldom see.
Three panels of hand stenciled Parrots surround the globe with two designs repeating. "Sponge" painted green trim around the neck and bottom along with 6 intersecting black lines. The black lines are stenciled over the Parrot scenes giving the design depth. The pant has been fired onto the glass which is why the colors are so vibrant today. No noticeable paint loss or fading, no cracks on the glass and no noticeable chips.
Attributed to the Lincoln Co. Shown on a solid brass vintage fitter wit a dark patina of the same era.
Drop with the flush mount fitter shown: 14 1/2 inches. Drop can be adjusted longer with a chain hung fitter.
