Great Mid-Century Modern design ceiling light with timeless pattern in the glass shade. This vintage light fixture has a beautiful look and feel and you will hardly ever find a light fixture from the Mid-Century Modern era in such clean and good condition. What makes this particular specimen extra special (and extra large) is the brass ring with the teakwood style elements. The complementing colors of the brass ring and finial, the teakwood and the spray painted patterns on the outside of the large glass shade with the white centre make this mid century modern a real joy to own and to look at. Its large size, grand design and complementing colors gives this stylish light fixture its serene look and feel and, to us, this therefor too is the perfect 'chandelier' to complement a mid-century modern living room, kitchen area, office or bedroom. Unfortunately we don't know who the designer is, but judging from the pure midcentury design and the quality materials, we feel, this can only be by one of the bigger names in Scandinavian design.
