Large mouth blown Murano Glass Balloon Lantern in Steel Grey and Polished Nickel
About the Item
Designed by Andrew and made exclusively for Andrew Kornat Designs by one of the most famous Master Glass Furnace's on the Island of Murano in Venice, this beautiful Bell Lantern is made to the highest of standards using centuries old glass blowing techniques famed in this historical region of Italy
The elegant silhouette of the Bell Lantern has deep vertical ribs in the shape of the glass which is hard to photograph but can be seen in the close up pictures of the top of the Bell - this is also echoed in the blown glass ceiling rose cover
We have a pair for sale in Steel Grey colour with Polished Nickel metal parts for immediate delivery, but we can also make these brand new to order in any one of over 20 plan colours in approx. 10 wks
The lantern has a handmade brass ceiling rose which is Nickel Plated and also comes with a mouth blown matching glass canopy and is suspended from Nickel Plated Chain and metal parts, fitted with an E14/ SWS Lamp holder. Overall weight 5.5kg/ 12.12lbs
The height listed is for the lantern, ceiling canopy and one link of chain - it is supplied with an additional 20cm/ 8" chain
This item is currently wired for the UK/ European Market but we can easily re-wire for the USA or any other global location at a small additional cost - if ordering brand new production we can wire with any specification at no additional charge
