About the Item
A late 19th Century, pair of antique French wall sconces, hand crafted with a gilded brass frame, in good condition. Each of the Parisian appliques features four electrified candle holders, sticks which are halted by short, curved arms. The ornate wall lights are embellished with and array of hand blown cut crystal prisms glass pieces and teardrops pendants, designed to catch and reflect the light. The wires have been renewed. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1870 - 1890, Paris, France.
