About the Item

A vintage Mid-Century modern pair of Italian wall sconces made of hand blown colored Murano glass, designed and produced by La Murrina in good condition. Each of detailed appliques are composed with four sculptural glass rays which are in the shape of a tulip. The lamps are featuring a two light socket. Manufacturer label at the base, each glass piece is stamped. The wires have been renewed. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950 - 1960, Venice, Italy. La Murrina is an Italian lighting manufacturer founded in 1960's by a group of master glass artisans in Murano, Venice, Italy. In 1974, the company changed ownership as it was bought by a family from Milan.

A colorful, vintage Mid-Century modern pair of Italian wall sconces, appliques made of hand blown smoked Murano glass produced by Mazzega, in good condition. Each wall light, lamp is composed with five yellow and white twisted glass pieces which are hanging on short slanted arms, supported by a rectangular polished brass frame.
