About the Item
This wall lamp was manufactured by the Swedish company Westal in Bankeryd, Sweden. The historical company was founded in 1947 and for more than seven decades, it has developed functional and aesthetically pleasing luminaires.
With the brass frame holding the smoked glass shades, the lamp clearly shows the craftsmanship of the maker, with beautiful geometric forms and symmetry dominating the structure. The popularity of brass can be attributed to its golden hue that adds warmth to the style's modern aesthetic. This wall lamp further emulates the mid-century modern movement's guiding principles through its clean lines and geometric shapes. Next to the brass, the translucent, smoked glass shades stand out with a shape that resembles a pressed sphere.
