About the Item
Designed by Andrew and produced by hand with care and attention to detail, the Swing Arm Library Light was introduced to the collection in 2013 and has been one of our best selling sconces since, probably due to its huge versatility - as shown in the images they've even been used as super useful bedside lights
Andrew designed this as a request for a classical yet modern versions of a traditional library light that needed to be moveable in all directions with a tilting shade and rise and fall mechanism (it is due to so many movable parts that this wall sconce is externally wired, so please do see the dimensions image in the listing). To give this sconce a more modern twist to the traditional form Andrew topped the sconce with a handmade 8" sheet brass shade on a cast brass gimble
The sconce is made 100% by hand and each part is cast individually and hand carved and polished after being turned out the mould. Customers can order in Polished Nickel (as listed), Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Bronze, Matt Nickel or Black Brass - please ask for more details or images if required
This pair is wired with E27/ ES lamp holders for the UK/ European market, but we can rewired the stock pair at the cost of £100 for anywhere in the world. Or if ordering a brand new pair to be made, wiring can be specified without any additional charges
