About the Item

A pair of early 19th century Italian Neoclassical carved giltwood and tole sconces of busts of Roman soldiers, circa 1820, each with three candle arms. The sconces have recently been wired with new porcelain sockets.

Wear consistent with age and use. Sconces are in very good condition; minor loss on bottom carving of one sconce that has been minimized. They have been wired with new sockets.
