Elegant pair of 1940s era French sconces in cast bronze and glass.
Amazing fabrication and detail. Assembled with screws, cast bronze acanthus leaf, molded textured glass plates. Custom-made gathered silk lampshades.
Original wiring. US light bulb adapter.
Provenance: Parisian hotel - Probably never been used. When we purchased these sconces, they were taken directly from the hotel's storage and still wrapped in newspapers from 1941.
