About the Item
Ceiling light / wall light / plafoniere by Glashütte Limburg from the 1970s - Type 3044. This light is a typical representative of 1970s design: amber-colored ice glass with a brass-colored holder. The special glass creates beautiful light refractions.
The solid bubble glass shade is screwed onto a metal holder with two porcelain sockets. This is attached to the wall/ceiling with two screws.
This light was sold as second-hand stock due to a stress crack on the side of the glass that occurred during the manufacturing process. This flaw is visible as a slight dent on the inside and a hairline crack on the outside - see detailed photos. Otherwise, in good vintage condition.
