Fontana arte and Candle, E770, red wall light, Murano Opaline glass, Italy, 1980

About the Item

Candle and Fontana Arte are two glass factories of Murano Island. Both from special background, they have featured this rare model of outside wall light. Made out of a red lacquered cast aluminum, it was meant to be an outside sconce. Found in a hotel in the region on Bologna, Italy, it was set in a covered loggia in the lobby and kept it's natural condition. Originally produced in black, white and red. The glass is a blown molded white opaline globe that screws itself into the head of the lamp. WORLDWIDE FREE SHIPPING These pieces are made by hand, each piece is unique and its dimensions may vary.
