About the Item

Made completely by hand for Andrew Kornat Designs this sleek industrial style wall sconce was originally designed by Andrew for a loft apartment scheme that he worked on in London hip Shorditch district with a huge open plan living space with a Library corner where these were attached between the shelf units The sconce has an angled arm that can move up and down with a fixing key on the joint of the very thick grade Brass rod and heavy cast Brass backplate. So that you can decide the angle of light required for the room either up for spread lighting or down for more intimate reading lighting The cone shade measures 14cm/ 5.5" Diameter x 14cm/ 5.5" High and the thick cast Brass back plate is 11cm/ 4.25" Diameter x 3cm/ 1.25" Deep and the whole wall light weighs 1.3kg/ 2.9Lbs The lamp holder casing above the cone shade as an industrial style cross hatched carved band detail where the shade joins the end of the arm - see the close up images for this small but intentional details that make this item stand out to the norm We have a pair available for immediate delivery in Polished Nickel, but customers can also order them to be custom made in 6 wks in one of seven finishes - see variations picture and variations lighting The stock pair are currently wired for the UK/ European market with 1 x ES/E27 Lamp holder - but can easily be rewired for anywhere in the world for a small upcharge - please ask if required. If ordering new in any finish, the wiring can be specified with the order at no extra charge
