About the Item
Elegantly representing a large ornate handled urn with a pomegranate topiary growing out of it, this Italian carved & silverleafed applique is just magnificent. A fine metalworked pomegranate topiary tree with fruits rises from the carved urn with three scrolling candlelabra arms curling forward. Wonderfully carved, gessoed and silvered in the 50’s, it hangs from a ring in the tree, has been rewired, has new candle sleeves and a switch on the long cord. Could be hardwired. Ink marked on the back, Made in Italy. Has three black/gold foil shades if desired. Great large scale for the foyer, over a console…very versatile and oh so elegant!
Takes three candelabra size bulbs, up to 60 watts max. we suggest lower wattage
