Italian 1950s Bronze and Black-Lacquered Steel Wall Sconce with Opaline Glass
About the Item
Wall-mounted sconce designed and produced in Italy around 1950.
The structure combines a curved bronze reflector, a black-lacquered steel support, and a cylindrical opaline glass shade.
A ring of vertical black steel fins surrounds the base of the diffuser; a small bronze tail element finishes the lower end of the bracket.
Standard E27 socket; works with 110 V and 220 V systems when fitted with the appropriate bulb.
Overall condition: very good. The bronze shows an even patina and minor age-related marks consistent with careful use.
