About the Item

The Gill model by Leucos, designed in 1962 by Roberto Pamio, was the very first lighting fixture produced by the company and remains a timeless icon of Italian modernism. A masterclass in understated elegance, it features a hand-blown crystal globe with a luminous milky opaline center, creating a soft, ethereal glow. Offered originally in four diameters—28 cm, 35 cm, 40 cm, and 45 cm—and three mountings (two in white lacquered metal and one in white ABS, a groundbreaking plastic developed in the late 1950s and famously used by LEGO and the Citroën Méhari), the Gill seamlessly blends technical innovation with poetic form. We are pleased to offer three available pieces in the rare and refined 28 cm version—a perfect embodiment of minimalist beauty and historical design significance. • Dimensions: (cm) D28 H22
