Limburg 1 of 6 Vintage 1960s Black Iron Rings and Glass Wall Lights or Sconces

About the Item

One of six Mid-Century Modern rare pair of vintage German made lantern style flush mount wall light fixtures or sconces by Glashütte Limburg, circa 1960. Featuring thick heavy mouth blown glass with con-caved round "iron" rings - reminiscent to the bullseye circular discs found in British and European windows from the late Middle Ages or late medieval period, also known as 'crown glass' or 'crown bullion glass'. This style of lights cast a wonderful light across a wall or ceiling - They can be wall-mounted and directly wired or used in conjunction with pull switches. New pull cords can be supplied, if required. Newly rewired. Each light requires a single E14 light bulb (60 Watt max.). Priced and sold individually - they can also be purchased singularly, in pairs or sets of three, for example.
