Midcentury ARLUS Yellow Diabolo Wall Light, France 1950s
About the Item
This elegant and very rare midcentury wall light was designed and manufactured in France in the 1950s by Maison ARLUS.
It features a large yellow lacquered metal diabolo lamp shade with brass details and a brass back plate.
The lamp has been rewired and re-electrified for use in US, Asia and Europe and requires a E27 screw on bulb.
Size of backplate is 7.1 inch (18 cm) x 3.5 inch (9 cm).

- Condition:Refinished. Rewired. Wear consistent with age and use. There are (although polished) some surface scratches to the back plate and some minor wear to the yellow lacquering of the lamp shade. The cream colored inside of the lamp shade shows some light crackling.
