Modernist Brass Sconces with Hand Blown Murano Smoked Glass with Murines

About the Item

This gorgeous pair of sconces were hand blown in Murano, Italy- the islands off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for their superlative glass production. They are composed of billowing semi-translucent smoked glass shades replete with an abundance of murines inlaid into the glass. They attach to the wall via a square backplate with a streamlined and reeded brass arm that extends to the shade. With their beautiful glass quality and clean modernist lines, these sconces are as versatile as they are stunning, blending perfectly with any style of decor from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They are in excellent condition. These Sconces accommodate one edison based bulb each achieving up to 100 watts of light. Italy, 21st century Dimensions: 12.5" H x 8.25" W x 8.75" D.
