Modernist Geometric Hand Blown Murano Frosted Glass & Satin Brass Sconces, Pair
About the Item
This stunning pair of modernist sconces were hand blown in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. Each sconces features two spherical frosted glass globes attached to a concave circular plate from which cylindrical stems descend the vertical one bisected, by an L-form angled one, creating a dynamic symmetry. With its austere geometric form and clean modernist lines, this pair of sconces is as versatile as they are aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition.
