Pair 19th Century French Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze Sconces by Maison Millet

About the Item

Pair of Louis XV rococo style gilt bronze two-light wall lights, stamped MB on rear for Blaise Millet, founder of Maison Millet of Paris. The firm was active from 1853 to circa 1906, and known for their designs in the Louis XV and Louis XVI style. They won numerous awards, including a gold medal at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1889.
