Pair of 1950s Italian Brass & Opaline Glass Twin-Arm Wall Sconces
About the Item
Manufactured in Italy in the mid-1950s, this matched pair of wall-mounted appliques features two upward-angled arms in solid brass fixed to an oval backplate. Each arm terminates in a tapered opaline glass shade that diffuses light evenly. Standard E14 sockets are fitted; the fixtures can be rewired for either 110 V (US) or 220 V (EU) operation without altering the structure. Brass surfaces show a uniform aged patina; glass is free of chips or cracks. No structural repairs or replacements observed. Mounting hardware not included.
