Pair of 19th Century Italian Scrolling Iron Single Light Sconces, 34" Tall

About the Item

A pair of Italian single light iron sconces, long arm extensions, from the 19th century. This pair of antique sconces from Italy each feature a large-sized single arm, comprised of scrolling armature, with nice, outward projection, with a single bobèche at its top which houses a painted candle sleeve within its center. The arm connects and is supported by the vertical bar back plate with wavy edges and fleur de lis style tips. These forged-iron light fixtures have a hammered texture, and lovely patina with a subtle red hue. This pair of Italian forged-iron sconces have been rewired for US.
