About the Item
Pair of Antique Italian Wrought Iron and Painted Wood Sconces features a subdued burgundy color accented with gold on the hand-carved acanthus foliates. The design intertwines upward and downward oriented foliate plumes with the pair of arms mounted to a crown-style base below which is a bold acanthus plume finial, and above which is affixed a wrought iron upper section that continues the embellishment style. By combining turned wood on the main body and the bobeches with hand-forged wrought iron mounts sculpted by a talented metal smith, each exudes a classic style that is amazing to behold that will add timeless warmth to any interior.
