Pair of Brass Cherub Wall Lights, Vintage, 20th Century
Offered for sale is a charming pair of brass wall-mounted light fittings in the form of cherubs or putti, likely dating from the mid to late 20th century.
Each light features a finely cast figure of a wingless cherub in a classical pose, holding aloft a single candle-style sconce with leaf and berry cast detailing. The backplates are decorated in relief with floral and neoclassical motifs. The lights have a pleasing aged patina and retain their original wiring, recently tested and functional, though rewiring is recommended for safety before installation.
