Pair of Italian 1950s Brass and Blue Opaline Glass Wall Sconces
About the Item
Pair of wall-mounted sconces designed and produced in Italy in the 1950s. Each fixture consists of a circular brass backplate, a straight brass arm, and a vertical stem that secures a truncated-cone shade in celeste (light blue) opaline glass. One standard E14 socket is fitted inside each shade. The lights can be adapted for use in both European and North American installations . Brass surfaces display an even, age-consistent patina; glass components are clean and free of chips. Overall condition is good with minor signs of wear. Sold as a pair.
