About the Item
A beautiful and most charming pair of Italian 19th century Louis XVI st. Gilt Metal and Giltwood sconces. Each decorative four arm four light sconce is centered by a gilded sphere which connects the four 'S' scrolled arms. Each fine round arm contains a circular central reserve leading towards the round topie and crown shaped candle cups. The highest arm, which extends up from the sphere, matches the three other arms with their central reserves and crown shaped candle cups. Each sconces displays wonderful attention to detail and original patinated finish throughout.
