About the Item
A beautiful pair of Italian 19th century Louis XVI st. Gilt Metal and Giltwood sconces. Each most decorative seven arm seven light sconce is centered by a gilded sphere which connects the seven 'S' scrolled arms. Each fine round arm displays a circular central reserve leading towards to the round topie and crown shaped candle cups. The highest arm, which extends up from the bottom finial, matches the six other arms with their central reserves and crown shaped candle cups. The patinated finish on each of these wonderful sconces showcases extensive attention to detail throughout.
