About the Item

French 1940s Wall Lights, Hand Forged Iron Elegant pair of wrought iron wall sconces with gold leaf gilding and Fleur de Lis Design, France, 1940s. These hand forged light fixtures feature a fleur-de-lis shaped backplate holding an scroll ended arm with a candelabra holder with candle cover. Beautiful with or without shades. They will be a nice midcentury accent in a contemporary or classical decoration. Place them at both sides of a mirror in a bathroom, entry hall or room. They retain rests of their original gold leaf gilding with a dramatic aged patina. Shades are not included. On sale as a pair. Measures: 23 cm W x 27,5 cm H x 15,5 cm D.
