About the Item
This rare pair of wall lights dates back to the 1890s. They came from a middle-class apartment in Hanover, the state capital. They are made of solid brass and painted white, and the floral motif is beautiful. The cables have been replaced and updated. The original wooden candle holders are included. You are purchasing a very rare pair of wall lights that survived two world wars in Germany. The house where they were installed still stands today. These wall lights use E14 Edison bulbs. For the American market, we include the appropriate E12 screw adapters so the lights are ready to use right away.
