About the Item
Offered for sale is a set of two 1980s wall lamps (appliques / sconces) by Murano-based glassmaker "La Murrina". The attribution is clear thanks to the acid-etched signature present on each piece, alongside a little white "snail", the logo of the Murrina furnace.
The two lamps, very big at 45 by 45cm (18 by 18 in) each, are triangular in shape; the base glass is clear, but has an abstract filigree motif in orange that warms up the tone of the light. The lamps, as visible, are currently styled on a brown wall - which really enhances their shades.
Preserved in optimal conditions, they have no signs of damage, and very little signs of use overall. They are hardwired, perfectly working and overall absolutely stunning.
