About the Item
Spectacular pair of Italian sconces in brass and green enameled metal. These incredibly elegant and rare wall lamps were designed by Oscar Torlasco and produced in Italy in the early 1950s.
Fully original, these sconces are in amazing vintage condition. The brass has a wonderful golden patina that has been left unpolished to preserve their charm and historical value.
The sconces are made in a charming combination of brass and green enameled metal. The brass round backplate is enriched by a floral decoration in green metal that connects to the diffuser with a curved brass arm. The cone-shaped shades are completed by the same floral decoration but in brass. The end result is an incredibly graceful and elegant pair of wall lamps.
The lamps have been professionally re-wired and tested, complatible with both US and EU/UK standards, they use a single E14 light bulb.
These elegant sconces are perfect to enhance a mid-century living room or entryway project.
