About the Item
This wall sconce is perfect for anyone who loves art. This wall sconce is lovingly handcrafted, and according to the previous owner, it was made in France around 1850. It was originally made for candles, but around 1900, it was lovingly adapted for electric candles. I'm so glad to tell you that this fitting is still in place today. I'm so excited to tell you about these candles! They're made of wood and finished with real wax. The wood also serves as insulation, keeping your home cozy and comfortable all year long. I know it doesn't meet today's safety regulations, but it's still perfectly functional. If you're a fan of unique chandeliers from that time, this one is a must-have! I know this lamp has been a part of your family for 100 years, and you've never had any problems with it. But, I'm worried that, to be safe, we should replace the lamp sockets. The beautiful lampshades were replaced in the 1970s. And when you're not using it as a lamp, you can easily convert it back into a lovely candle holder. The lamp has quite the story to tell. It was originally from a quaint little castle in France, and it has been lovingly passed down through generations of families. I was immediately struck by the artistic beauty of this piece. I'm so excited for you to experience this delightful piece of art!
