About the Item
Rare set of Scandinavian Modern wall lamps made by Th. Valentiner in Denmark in the 1960s. Manufactured by Poul Dinesen. Crafted from brass this fully adjustable pair of scissor wall lamps are a perfectly balanced and understated design. Beautifully shaped lacquered metal shades in a deep green colour with brass elements.
The Danish artist TH. Valentiner is an elusive designer of which very little is known. He made a series of lamps that was sold along with furniture by Hans J. Wegner, Finn Juhl, Arne Vodder etc. in the 1950s-1970s.

An amazing set of large table lamps model "4180" by Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen, Denmark. These lamps were handmade in Holm-Sørensens own studio in the 1960s in very low numbers.
