About the Item
Rare Space Age Globe wall lights from Dutch manufacturer raak based on a design by Frank Ligtelijn from the late 50s.
The most distinctive feature of this lamp is the reflector globe made of tinted glass. The glass luminaire body reveals the inner workings, the funnel-shaped reflector and the cylindrical aluminum lampholder cover. The aluminum funnel is flush with the lower opening of the glass and is separated by a circumferential gap. The light primarily goes directly downward. Some of the light exits laterally from holes in the reflector. The glass spheres lie loosely in a chrome ring connected to the wall mounting plate. This allows you to manually adjust the direction of light from the fixture.
