About the Item

Stylish set of 4 Mid Century Sconces Maison Arlus style imported from France. Cone shaped sconces with double and single lights, circa 1950. Composed of a brass body and plexiglass shade. This set of Maison Arlus or Lunel style sconces is comprised of 2 two armed and 2 one armed sconces, that would perfectly illuminate any wall. Measurements: 2 double armed sconces are 11 1/2" High x 9 1/2" Wide x 6" Deep 2 single armed sconces are 11 1/2" High x 4 1/4" Wide x 6" Deep Very good vintage condition with minor signs of age appropriate wear.

The master metalsmith Noël Baguès founded the company as specialists in liturgical bronzes, but by 1880 the company had expanded into the production of bronze light fixtures in response to the development of electrical lighting.
