Set of Two Rare Mid Century Cocoon Sconces by Friedel Wauer for Goldkant Germany

About the Item

Set of two exceptional, elegant and highly decorative Mid-Century Modern cocoon sconces or wall fixtures. Designed probably by Friedel Wauer für Goldkant Leuchten, Germany, 1960s. Executed in resin and metal, each fixture is executed with 1 x E14 / E12 Edison screw fit bulb socket, is wired and in working condition. They run both on 110 / 230 volt. Each with pulldown on/off switch. The fixtures are checked, cleaned and is suitable for use in the USA. Dimensions: Width: 7.09 in (18 cm) Height: 11.03 in (28 cm) Depth: 3.55 in (9 cm) Net weight of both sconces: ca. 0,5 KG Condition: Good original vintage condition. Wear consistent with use and age. NO tear. Resin cover of one sconce is slightly loose / folded on upper side (please see the image 12). For their condition, please see all images in the listing.
