Two French Empire, Gilt Bronze Wall Sconces, circa 1860

About the Item

Two, exceptional pairs of 19th century 3-arm gas sconces featuring Horn-shaped arms ornamented with anthemions and terminating in urn form candle cups with swags. Sconce body depicts torchier wreathes with pierced olive branches and ribbons. Original surfaces, some with verde gris spotting where gilding has worn through. Custom electrification inclusive. $6,500 a pair.
