Michele Varian
Michele Varian is a designer and shop owner based in NYC. She designs her own collections of wallpaper, home textiles, lighting, and furniture, which are primarily made in America. Michele's designs are modern and trend forward, and yet rooted in a rich heritage of craftsmanship. She has won the "Rising Star" Award for product design from the NY IFDA, as well as Best in Show for Wall Coverings at the Architectural Digest Show. The Michele Varian Shop has been on the Elle Decor list of best furniture shops in the US for both 2015 and 2016 and now 2017! Her collections as well as those of over 100 other emerging and innovative designers of furniture, home accessories, art, curiosities and jewelry are available at her SoHo Shop at 27 Howard Street. The shop is a destination for interior designers, prop stylists and style savvy celebrities. At least once a day, someone walks in and says, "Can I move in?" The answer is, no, but we'll do everything we can to help you make your home just as desirable to nest in. Recently, Michele has started writing about her over 16 years experience as a shop and business owner, as well as a product designer in a new series, Design Talks by MV.
