Vintage Wall Lamp by Motoko Ishii for Staff
About the Item
Imposing mid century ceiling or wall light from staff after a design of the japanese designer motoko ishii.
this design convinces with its reflective surfaces. The game with reflections creates a special depth. The reflecting surfaces double the elements and enhance the lighting effect. On an elongated base plate are arranged in series cylinders of the same height. At the upper end of the cylinders small e14 seats are screwed over which a head-mirrored glass ball is screwed. A special element are the screwable glass beads that protect the bulbs and optically enlarges it. The actually small e14 bulbs gets the appearance of a globe bulb. The transparent volume, gives the whole design a certain ease. This luminaire can be mounted on ceiling or wall.
