Wall Sconces Vintage Rococo Onyx & Gilt Bronze France, 1960s

About the Item

Pair of Magnificent Vintage French Rococo Wall Sconces - Onyx & Gilt Bronze - 1960s Vintage French wall sconces, exquisitely crafted in the Rococo style. Dating from the 1960s, these impressive pieces boast a rich history and undeniable charm. Each sconce features two light points, casting a warm, inviting glow. The frames are made from substantial gilt bronze with a beautifully aged patina, adding to their antique allure. The striking feature of these sconces is the use of stunning green onyx for the candle cups (or light shades). The deep, verdant color of the onyx creates a luxurious contrast against the golden bronze, enhancing the overall elegance of the design. They are ideal for adding a touch of grand sophistication to a dining room, bedroom, or entryway. Bring a piece of French history and unparalleled elegance to your home. The wiring is in working order. The wiring is suitable for USA, Canada and Europe. Each model is designed to use two lamps with a cap E14. Dimensions & Weight: Base Length: 11.8 in - 30 cm. Pair of Rococo Bronze and Gilt Sconces
By Jacques Caffieri
Located in Greenwich, CT
Very fine pair of gilt and patinated bronze two light sconces depicting Mars holding two branches, in the manner of Jacques Caffieri.
