A 19th century Chinese white glaze bottle vase, the globular body raising to a long neck supported by a short brass foot rim and mounted on a turned and carved ebonized wooden base. The body and neck is decorated with bamboo shoots and leaf design in thin green and blue glazes, with the areas above and below the neck rim marked with stylized decorative bands. The lamp is fitted with a creamy shade.
