About the Item
A design marvel, this task lamp won the 1987 Compasso d'oro in Italy. One of the absolute classics in the area of table, reading and task lighting, it was designed by Paolo Rizzatto & Alberto Meda in 1985, and exhibits state of the art halogen technology in combination with lightweight materials achieving extreme functionality, finger touch mobility. Its ultra thin profile makes it an elegantly Minimalist design. The two articulated arms and spring mechanism recall George Carwardine's Anglepoise task light of 1933. The light is exceptional. Glass diffuser head. This lamp uses an included adapter that converts our 120 volts current to low voltage of 12 volts. Both lamp and adaptor feature extra long cords for convenience. Moves into almost any position, extremely versatile. Head rotates 360 degrees.
Measures: 18 inches from base to top of post, 24 inch arm with green shade, 6 inch diameter base.
