About the Item
This antique accent table lamp or light sculpture is unsigned, but presumed to have originated from the United States and date to approximately 1920 and done in the period Art Deco style. The lamp is composed of cast and patinated spelter depicting a figural stylized soapstone seal sculpture with a carved alabaster ball on its nose containing the light fixture. The seal sculpture stands on a polished onynx base. The lamp has standard wiring, but has no on/off switch.
