"Zodiac" Fluorescent Clamp-On Table Lamp by Artilite Artilite Netherlands, 1970s A functional and refined piece of Dutch modernist lighting design, this "Zodiac" clamp-on table lamp by Artilite features a white enameled metal shade, adjustable chrome stem, and black clamp base for versatile, space-saving placement. With its clean, industrial lines and utilitarian charm, the lamp reflects the minimalist sensibility of late 20th-century European task lighting. This model operates with a maximum 20W fluorescent bulb, offering diffuse, even illumination ideal for desks, studios, or reading areas. Artilite, an innovative Dutch lighting company, would later merge with Raak in 1999 to form CLA – Centrum voor Lichtarchitectuur, a collective focused on architectural lighting solutions.
