The rhythm of the blues inspired the line of Bamboula lamps. Bamboula is the name given to a type of primitive drum made of the barrel of rum and covered by a skin at one end. It is also the name of the dance of African origin, brought to the United States and danced to the rhythm of the same drums. The pendant lamp has some variations. One is a central part formed by 03 heights of pendants that interconnects to the other individual pieces that are sold individually. There is a table lamp too that can be used in two ways: horizontal or vertical positions. This is Pedrita table lamp (Model S) and it is part of Pedrita lamp series. Pedrita lamp series’ concept is based on an experimentation of Brazilian stones: quartzites and quartz crystals, which are natural, semiprecious and exotic stones found in Brazilian territory. We worked in a Minimalist perspective, using straight lines and simple shapes to highlight materials’ natural properties. Their colors, vein patterns and translucency resemble green forest landscapes, greenish archipelagos, paths shaped by volcanic golden lava, running rivers or glacier and icebergs.
