About the Item
A wonderful Bauhaus lamp from the 1930s. This very solid lamp impresses with its brass curved shade; the execution of this piece, in this developed surface is extremely rare. It features a heavy metal base with a green Bakelite detail, a curved armature which holds and supports the swivel shade.
The lamp is in very good original condition with a warm patina and some surface wear. This lamp adds a touch of nostalgia and elegance to any room. A perfect addition for any lover of vintage design or for those looking to add a touch of history to their home.
A single base-mounted switch controls the lamp, and the original wiring is in good, tested condition. We see elements of Bauhaus design throughout, from the geometries, to the materials, and unique way the piece is detailed.
