Mid-Century Italian Table Lamp by Alvino Bagni – Black Glaze with Turquoise Accents
This striking mid-century Italian table lamp was designed by Alvino Bagni and stands at an impressive 41 cm in height, including the lamp fixture. The lamp showcases a glossy black glaze, beautifully contrasted by abstract turquoise swirls and geometric patterns. The high-shine glaze creates a sleek, almost metallic effect, adding to its bold and modern aesthetic.
Bagni was a celebrated Italian ceramicist known for his innovative glazing techniques and intricate surface decorations. His works, often produced for Raymor and other high-end distributors, are highly sought after for their craftsmanship and artistic quality. The base of this lamp is signed "Lh 63, D.234 Italy" and is also marked "ITALY", a signature commonly found on Bagni’s pieces.
