About the Item
Vaga table lamp designed by Franco Mirenzi in 1978 and produced by Valenti Luce.
The relatively heavy base provides a solid balance for the fairly large round metal top of the lamp. The lamp is made of metal and the on / of switch also works as a dimmer. The colour of this lamp is dark chocolate brown.
The condition of this impressive table lamp is very good. The lamp has the original Italian plug, which may need to be replaced or used with an adapter.
The Vaga table lamp is described in the 'Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000' by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 269 (1979).

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. There is an unevenness on the back of the shade. Since it is small, in the color of the shade and out of sight because it is on the back of the shade it is hardly noticeable and certainly not disturbing.
