Once used to store "tabac râpé"—a finely ground snuff tobacco—this striking jar is adorned with Tichelaar Makkum’s hallmark hand-painted Delft patterns. With intricate blue motifs and delicate ornamentation, this piece beautifully embodies Dutch decorative arts and the precise craftsmanship for which Tichelaar Makkum is renowned. The jar bears the official Royal Tichelaar Makkum mark, testifying to its authenticity and unique place in Dutch heritage.
