About the Item

An early twentieth century baluster vase, decorated throughout with gilded fans, river scenes, birds, fish scales and other stylised emblems associated with Kimono designs. Now mounted on a hand-turned giltwood base as a lamp for electric lighting. Meiji Period Dimensions refer to vase and gilded base. Shades not included.
